Yoo Hoo family!

Sorry for being a little later than usual. We spent all morning getting everything packed to switch apartments with the elders. We were switching everything from our apartments and getting everything clean before they moved in and they were getting everything clean before we moved in. Elder Hall and Elder Ludlow spent the morning back and forth between the apartments with the van carrying everything in and Elder Larson and Elder Lafayette were deep cleaning their apartment before we move in haha. Elders Larson and Lafayette worked VERY hard to get it clean for us haha (elders have been living in that apartment for a while!) Sister Bogle and I helped Elders Hall and Ludlow and then got our apartment clean. When we got that done we went and grabbed lunch for everyone. It was a very productive morning haha.

Our original apartment had warm water and AC haha. We never used the AC though. It had screens on the windows too. But the new apartment has like 5 rooms (including kitchen and bedroom) There are no screens on the windows which means lizards in the apartment woot woot! haha, but now we are living in our area which is really nice!

This week has been good. Jayden was baptized yesterday!!! He is Antoinette's son and he has such a powerful testimony especially for a nine year old! He knows so much about the gospel and he has been asking us about his baptism for at least the past month haha. He was a little bit nervous about the water, but everything went well and he was so happy!! AND... HIS MOM GAVE A TALK AT HIS BAPTISM!!!! She spoke on baptism and it was the best! The spirit was sooooo strong!

We have a few new investigators who are really interested in the gospel and we are praying that they will continue to have the desire to learn and that they will come to church. Yesterday we had Maxine, Jimroy, Narine and Teja at church which was awesome because they got to see Jayden's confirmation and Teja and Jimroy actually got to see his baptism that morning as well.

Maxine is in her 50s and she lived in the states for about 30 years. She has a strong desire to understand the gospel but she has a hard time reading and comprehending. But she has been praying about it and we are praying as well that she will continue to progress and really be able to understand the lessons.

Narine is 19, she was taught by missionaries early last year, but she wasn't fully keeping commitments. We called her last week and have had a few lessons with her. She had a baby at the end of 2015 and she really wants to let the gospel into her life. It was so wonderful to see her at church on Sunday and a lot of the members remembered her and were very welcoming and loving towards her. It is so great to see the members welcoming these investigators in and making them feel at home.

Jimroy is seriously so amazing! We called him on Sunday morning to check if he and Junior were up and getting ready to come to church. He told us Junior wasn't coming because he didn't have fare, but he told us he had saved his lunch money to make sure he had fare for church. And he was there an hour early for Jayden's baptism! He is such a leader in his family and he will be an amazing missionary to those in his community!

I love Montego Bay so much and I am so thankful for all of the wonderful people that I have been able to meet. I don't know if I will be leaving this upcoming transfer next week (the call comes on Saturday), but I know that no matter where I go, Montego Bay will always have a special place in my heart as my birthplace haha. [mom note: Missionaries have transfers every 6 weeks. Sometimes they stay in their area with their current companion, sometimes they stay but get a new companion and sometimes they get transfered to a new area with a new companion. The upcoming transfer is next Wednesday]

Love you lots familia!!!! Thanks for everything!

Love
